Mindbender Mansion Vault

Part of the Mindbender Manion exhibit, the password vaults were kiosk interactives users unlocked to discover video featuring a comical narrator, a true but wacky tale about an inventor, and secret passwords. With enough passwords, users would become official members of the Mindbender Mansion and could create their own award certificate.

I designed the structure, graphics, user interface, and visual assets. I also provided art direction, set design, and prop design for the video shoots and motion graphics.

Art Critique Generator

A project I created in Flash to help anyone feel like an art critic. A few button clicks is all it takes to create a dense and meaningless phrase perfect for an art critique or artist statement. Part antique radio and part Commodore 64, the Instamatic Art Critique Generator makes it easy for anyone to sound pompous! I created all the art work, animations, and coding.

Solar Canopy and Car Charging Port

 I worked with outside consultants and funders to design a solar station that included a electric car charging unit, bike racks that charged electric bikes, and an interpretive kiosk. I provided design conepts, 3D renderings, site layout, kiosk design, and graphic design.

Animation

Artwork and video clips from Cartoon Network were utilized to explore the creativity, skills, and process of creating animations. I contributed to many aspects of the project, including construction drawings, print graphics, and visual design.

Animal Secrets

Animal Secrets was an exhibit for young children to learn about familiar animals and the role of naturalists. I took the project over during the shop drawing phase. I finalized concepts, generated fabrication drawings, created environmental graphics, and directed an illustrator, scenic artist and costume designer.
